This is a clean, organized shop with strong processes, consistent workflow, and a team culture that values accountability, learning, and pride in workmanship.

Shop Hours & Schedule

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Consistent weekday schedule

• No rotating shifts

• Evenings and weekends not required

The Role

Repair & Maintenance (Approx. 70%)

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy duty trucks and equipment

• Assist with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs under the supervision of Journeypersons

• Test vehicles to ensure safety and compliance standards are met

• Work closely with Parts Technicians to ensure required parts are available

Diagnostics & Problem Solving (Approx. 20%)

• Review work orders and repair concerns provided by Service Advisors

• Support diagnostics on engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical systems, and aftertreatment

• Learn to interpret diagnostic results and contribute to efficient repair solutions

Reporting & Development (Approx. 10%)

• Accurately document work performed and time spent on repairs

• Participate in OEM training, in-house training, and apprenticeship development

• Progress through apprenticeship levels with structured support

Education & Certification

• Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year

• Class 5 driver's license or higher required

• Must have most tools required to perform the job

• Previous heavy duty or related mechanical experience is an asset
