We are building a financial analytics platform focused on transaction advisory and performance intelligence. We are looking for an experienced developer who can build a structured, scalable Price / Volume / Mix (PVM) analytics application.
This is not a simple Excel bridge. We are building a modular analytics engine that can process transactional data (revenue, units, cost) and dynamically decompose revenue and margin movements across multiple hierarchies such as product, customer, geography, and channel.
The end goal is a professional-grade application that produces clean analytical outputs and executive-ready summaries.
What We Need Built
The core functionality should include:
• Revenue growth decomposition (Price / Volume / Mix)
• Margin bridge analysis (price impact, cost impact, mix impact)
• Multi-period comparisons (monthly, quarterly, LTM, YoY)
• Dynamic hierarchy selection (e.g., SKU, category, customer, region)
• Contribution margin analysis by dimension
• Top drivers of revenue and margin change
• Concentration and volatility analysis
• Executive dashboard outputs
The tool must allow users to dynamically select dimensions and time periods without breaking the structure.
Platform / Technology
We are open to the best approach, but this should be built as a structured application — not a fragile spreadsheet.
Acceptable approaches may include:
• Excel with advanced modeling and structured design
• Python-based backend with Excel or BI front-end
• Web-based analytical application
• Power BI with structured model layer
We care more about architecture quality and scalability than the specific tool.
Key Requirements
• Strong experience building financial or analytics applications
• Experience working with structured data models
• Ability to design modular, reusable logic
• Clean UI / UX thinking (clear dashboards and structured outputs)
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
• Professional documentation of logic
Bonus if you have experience with financial analysis, transaction advisory, SaaS analytics, or pricing analysis.

• Clear documentation of methodology
We are building a long-term analytics platform, not a one-off model. If successful, there will be additional modules (recurring revenue, project-based POC analysis, retail analytics, etc.).
Please include examples of analytics applications or financial tools you have built.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for Applications
Optional skills: Microsoft Excel PowerPivot, Statistics
