Join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a dedicated Order Picker! We are seeking individuals who are precise and efficient to fulfill customer orders within our dynamic warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from shelves, ensuring that outgoing shipments are correct and timely. Your efforts are critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations and maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse stock based on order specifications and pick sheets.
- Scan items accurately to update inventory systems.
- Ensure picked items match order requirements for quantity and type.
- Deliver picked items to designated packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in picking areas and throughout the warehouse.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear all required PPE.
- Achieve daily picking targets and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a warehouse, order picking, or related logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals.
