We are seeking hardworking individuals to join our growing warehouse team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storing goods to picking and packing orders. Your role is vital to ensuring the efficient flow of products through our logistics network. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive and busy work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to meet operational demands in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is a plus.
