Join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as an Inventory Control Specialist. We are searching for a detail-oriented professional to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. This critical role supports our overarching Logistics strategy by maintaining precise stock levels and minimizing discrepancies. You will conduct regular audits, investigate variances, and implement procedures to enhance inventory control. A solid understanding of warehouse operations, proficiency with inventory management software, and a strong commitment to Safety are essential. - Conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in inventory records.
- Maintaining accurate data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implementing and refining inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Ensuring adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth Logistics operations.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implementing safe Lifting techniques for inventory handling.
- Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in WMS and other inventory-related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Logistics principles and supply chain best practices.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting as required.
- Familiarity with and willingness to use required PPE.
