We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is vital for managing the movement and organization of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work and are committed to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. You will be an integral part of our logistics network, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential. Proper use of PPE must be observed at all times. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents.
- Inspecting equipment before use to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Performing other material handling duties as assigned.
