We are hiring a proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our San Diego, California location. The Warehouse Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, supervising warehouse staff, and optimizing workflow. You will be a critical link in our logistics chain, responsible for maintaining high standards of operational performance and team productivity. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement stock control measures.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of all goods.
- Plan and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and maintain best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring all team members use appropriate PPE.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Proficiency in WMS software and other relevant technology.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards, including the use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
