Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to the smooth operation of our distribution center. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and staging orders for delivery, and maintaining inventory records. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the warehouse, contributing directly to our overall logistics success.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
  • Understand and follow instructions related to order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and recording inventory movements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
