Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and promptly. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including unloading delivery trucks, inspecting incoming goods for damage, accurately documenting receipts, and preparing outgoing shipments. You'll work closely with our inventory management system to ensure stock levels are up-to-date and assist with cycle counts as needed. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is paramount, adhering to all **safety** protocols. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced **logistics** setting. Responsibilities:
  • Unload, receive, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Verify packing slips against received items for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Package and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier guidelines.
  • Stage outgoing shipments for pickup by carriers.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** guidelines.
  • Participate in regular **Lifting** and moving of goods up to 50 lbs.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** department.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Ability to perform **Lifting** and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in basic math and record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with **PPE** and warehouse **safety** procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a **logistics** environment.
