We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within a leading supply chain organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with team members to achieve daily operational goals and contribute to the overall success of the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is organized and accessible.
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and workplace conduct.
- Must be comfortable with manual tasks, including significant amounts of Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Familiarity with Logistics and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Commitment to Safety standards.
