Our Madison, Wisconsin facility is seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to be a key player in our order processing and distribution operations. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every task. You will be instrumental in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, contributing directly to our customers' satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for order tracking and inventory control.
- Assist with the unloading and stocking of incoming merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the fulfillment area.
- Ensure adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the proper usage of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to handle continuous physical activity, including significant Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional accuracy and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable with technology, including scanning devices and basic computer systems.
- Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of general logistics principles is a plus.
