We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders. Your primary focus will be on precision and adherence to all safety protocols. You will be expected to perform pre-operational checks on equipment, maintain an organized work area, and accurately record inventory movements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to move pallets, cartons, and other materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stack and retrieve items from shelves and storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping as needed.
- Follow all company and industry safety standards, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure proper handling of all goods to prevent damage.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
