Our dynamic logistics company in Provo, Utah, is looking for a skilled and certified Forklift Operator. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory within our warehouse. Your expertise in operating forklifts is crucial to the smooth and timely flow of goods, supporting our entire logistics operation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will work closely with receiving and shipping teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all employees to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Your role is critical in maintaining inventory integrity and facilitating outbound shipments. We provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with the latest safety standards and operational best practices. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Follow all traffic control and safety guidelines within the warehouse.
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
