Join a leading distribution company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a Forklift Operator. We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is critical for maintaining the flow of products, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring efficient inventory management. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and accurate operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. We are deeply committed to workplace Safety and provide all necessary PPE , extensive training, and a secure operating area. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation, along with the ability to perform occasional manual Lifting and assist with other warehouse tasks. A good understanding of Logistics operations is advantageous. Key duties include:
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assisting with order picking, put-away, and replenishment activities.
- Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining accurate logs of movements and inventory status.
- Adhering to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Working collaboratively with warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Participating in ongoing safety training and team meetings.
