Our established distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a skilled Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This pivotal role ensures that products are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped efficiently to our customers and partners. You will be the first point of contact for incoming and outgoing shipments, requiring excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. We prioritize employee well-being and provide all necessary PPE and training to ensure your Safety . This role involves significant Lifting and requires physical dexterity. A background in Logistics or warehouse operations is highly beneficial. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving all incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Inspecting incoming goods for damage or defects.
- Properly storing received inventory in designated areas.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Adhering strictly to all company policies and safety regulations.
