Join our fast-paced Fulfillment Center in New York City, New York, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to our growing e-commerce operations. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with accuracy and care. You will also assist with receiving inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position is critical to our Logistics success, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our valued customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and possesses a strong work ethic. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices. This role involves physical activity and requires the ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Process shipments using shipping software and equipment.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify counts.
- Stock inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment area.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting and moving of packages.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics and fulfillment operations.
- Ensure the correct use of required PPE.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred. Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Commitment to workplace Safety and wearing required PPE. Basic computer proficiency is helpful.
