We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely and correct delivery. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires a commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will handle a variety of products, ensuring each item is correctly identified, picked, and packed according to established procedures. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent errors and minimize returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills are beneficial as you may interact with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any discrepancies. Significant Lifting may be required, so physical stamina is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing accuracy and speed.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
