We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing items for shipment, ensuring product protection, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail to prevent errors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where adherence to safety protocols is paramount. The role involves moderate physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and reaching. Proper lifting techniques are essential, and team members are expected to lift items up to 50 lbs. Training will be provided on our warehouse management system (WMS) to facilitate efficient order processing. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all employees are required to use provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for destination.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Meet performance targets for picking and packing accuracy and speed.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Comfortable working with technology, including scanners and WMS.
