Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Verify shipment contents against order forms to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers for package pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Inspect packages for damage before dispatch.
- Communicate with internal departments and external customers regarding shipping status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Organize and maintain the shipping area for efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computers and WMS software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE as instructed.
