We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be a critical part of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and in a timely manner. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a leading logistics company and develop valuable warehouse skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our distribution network. We prioritize a safe and productive workplace, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols. Training will be provided on all equipment and procedures. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stocking merchandise onto shelves and in designated storage areas.
- Picking and packing customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Operating material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - with proper certification).
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Understanding and following instructions for order fulfillment.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
