The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of inventory control principles, and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). A commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is essential in this role. While this role focuses on accuracy and analysis, there will be occasional requirements for physical tasks, including lifting of items up to 30 pounds, and the need to apply safe lifting techniques. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to resolve inventory issues and optimize stock levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Perform lifting tasks as required, adhering to safe lifting practices.
