Are you a meticulous and proactive individual with a passion for supply chain accuracy? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our vast inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing inventory adjustments, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently. Safety is paramount in our logistics operations, and you will be expected to champion and adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. While this role is primarily analytical, some physical activity may be involved, including occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds for stock verification purposes. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments accurately and efficiently.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Assist in developing and executing strategies to improve inventory accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping teams.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 30 lbs for inventory verification.
