Our dynamic logistics company is looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, stocking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety are essential. This position requires individuals who are physically fit, capable of continuous Lifting , and proficient in using warehouse equipment. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment. Adherence to all Safety regulations is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Prepare materials for shipment and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly wear all required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and operate manual equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Logistics and material flow.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
