Join our vibrant team as a Forklift Operator at our busy distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to manage the movement of goods throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. A valid forklift certification and a minimum of one year of operating experience are required. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE , is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and flow of our Logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Move materials to designated locations within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly wear all required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Proven ability to perform Lifting and maneuver heavy objects.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Familiarity with different types of PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
