Salary: $140k-$160k

Join The Team:
ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Senior Manager, Reliability to join our Toronto Engineering team The successful individual will develop and be involved in the implementation of corporate policies to elevate equipment and system reliability. Working directly with Maintenance Managers to ensure that systems and equipment are reliable, safe and efficient throughout their lifecycle by employing engineering principles, analyzing performance data, identifying potential failures and implementing strategies to improve reliability, reduce downtime and optimize maintenance practices and capital investment.
The Role:
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce failures.
- Lead reliability projects and initiatives, including asset management and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data using tools like CMMS, IP.21, or predictive analytics.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Create and maintain reliability metrics and KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
The Person:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- 10+ years of experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field. Proven work experience in reliability, maintenance or asset management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reliability software (e.g., ReliaSoft, SAP PM, Maximo) is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills is required.
- Hands-on experience with condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, thermography etc.) is required.
- Strong knowledge of reliability tools and methodologies (FMEA, RCA, RCM) is preferred.
- Certification in reliability (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer – CRE) is considered an asset.
- Experience in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 55000 standards for asset management is preferred.
