The typical assignments for this position include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; inspecting individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods; conducting physical inspections of people documents or goods for criminal activity fraud and/or illegal operations utilizing observational techniques evaluating facts reviewing documentation applying Federal State or local laws regulations making determinations in compliance with laws regulations that may lead to arrests seizure property fines penalties based on findings.
