The United States Border Patrol (USBP) is a federal law enforcement agency responsible for securing the borders of the United States. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in preventing and deterring illicit activity along our nation's borders.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

You will be part of our team that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. You will have the opportunity to make arrests, exercise sound judgment in using firearms, deal effectively with people in a courteous manner, analyze information rapidly, and make prompt decisions.
