The role of a Customs and Border Protection Officer is a vital part of ensuring the nation's safety, security, and prosperity. As an officer, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce federal laws related to customs, immigration, agriculture, admissibility determinations for individuals entering the United States
- Inspect goods to prevent smuggling contraband into or out of the country
- Maintain vigilance in pursuit of dangerous criminals engaging in human trafficking
etc., thereby saving innocent lives (rescue would occur from amongst mass migrations) ,(evoking outraged reactions) throughout neighborhoods worldwide— - Promote compliance with regulations by educating travelers about import/export policies
Qualifications:
You must have been a U.S citizen throughout their entire life (per Bureau Rule), reside within said borders no less than three years over five.
Candidates referred before turning forty are eligible; however veterans who qualify under Title Five exemption get treated differently somehow too.(Note since you mentioned trying get qualified/exempted)
