About this Role
This is a career ladder position with five grade levels: GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will start at either the entry-level position as CBPO or go straight into one of these higher grades if you have previous law enforcement experience. Promotions are based on your performance within each role after 52 weeks.
- Inspect individuals for possible customs violations.
- Determine admissibility for non-citizens entering U.S.
- Pursue investigation against any suspicious activity while ensuring public safety through risk assessment analysis
