The role of a Customs and Border Protection Officer is to safeguard the nation's borders, prevent illicit activity, and enhance economic prosperity. As part of our 60,000+ workforce, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

• Enforcing laws by inspecting individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility for entry into the United States.
• Facilitating trade by conducting inspections while preventing illegal entry of individuals and goods.

• A minimum of three (3) years full-time general work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates people skills; OR

• a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with Superior Academic Achievement based on class standing (B+ ) grade-point average (3.0) , or honor society membership; OR one (1) year graduate-level education demonstrating required knowledge;
