The Data and IT Specialist will provide hands-on support for data systems, technology initiatives, troubleshooting, reporting, and performance improvement efforts to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Data Performance and Technology.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*: Includes the following specific tasks:
1. Work closely with Carisk and network providers to resolve data questions and issues while providing timely feedback to the Vice President of Data Performance and Technology of any critical issues and concerns. Participate in regular meetings with Carisk staff.
2. Work closely with Michell Consulting, Thriving Mind’s Managed Services Provider to coordinate projects and initiatives regarding network, equipment, and end user issues. Regular monitoring of open tickets and participate in weekly status meetings with Michell representatives.
3. Work closely with the VP of Data Performance and Technology in the compiling and preparation of reports such as the annual Inventory, Block Grant Report, DCF Template 11 Monthly Report, HB633 Quality Indicators and any other that may be requested by DCF or other entities as appropriate to the role.
4. Serve as WITS administrator for the Thriving Mind to assist network providers with user access issues, establishing facilities, establishing grant access, and communicating with DCF regarding reports or tickets.
5. Provide support to providers and review ODMS summaries received from DCF. Assist in coordinating communications, meetings, and assignments between DCF, Carisk, and Providers.
6. Participate in the monitoring, review, and analysis of performance measure data across the network and assist in preparing presentation to the management team resulting in review, next steps, and any needed continuous quality improvement decisions.
7. Work as a team member on complex projects, effectively interfacing non-technical individuals within and across the network.
8. Able to manage several priorities simultaneously and effectively.
9. Devise, develop, and deploy required data queries or coordinate such requests with Carisk in response to department requests, internal Thriving Mind department requests, and provider requests.
10. Manage maintenance of posts to the website and social media platforms.
11. Review logo approval requests from providers and work collaboratively to process DCF logo approvals.
12. Create the Thriving Mind Annual report.
13. Any and all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
*QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT*: Minimum of one year demonstrated data and/or IT systems management experience, thorough knowledge of word processing, data program and reporting, data analysis, spread sheet and other software systems.
*EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE*: Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university and a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution preferably with a degree in Computer Science or Data Analytics/Science.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
