This critical role involves operating specialized machinery to move, stack, and retrieve products within our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing inventory placement and ensuring efficient use of vertical storage space. A strong focus on Safety is paramount, and adherence to all operating procedures is mandatory. The ideal candidate possesses a valid reach truck certification or equivalent experience, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency. This position requires the ability to perform regular Lifting and material handling. You will play a key part in our logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport, stack, and retrieve products in designated racking systems.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and Safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and updating system data.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Certification for reach truck operation is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and material handling tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
