Responsibilities:

As an Entertainment Technical Supervisor at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you will lead and support the technical execution of live shows, special events, and park-wide entertainment experiences. This role ensures the highest quality in audio, lighting, and theatrical operations while maintaining safety, organization, and seamless collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will oversee daily technical operations, mentor technical staff, and help bring world-class entertainment experiences to life for our guests.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

  • Supervise and lead technical team members across audio, lighting, and theatrical ops
  • Plan, organize, and execute technical setups for shows, themed seasons, and other events
  • Program, install, and troubleshoot audio and lighting systems
  • Oversee theatrical rigging, safety inspections, and daily operational readiness
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments on technical projects
  • Assist with RFP processes, contract coordination, and project execution
  • Operate and ensure safe use of heavy machinery including forklifts and man lifts
  • Maintain inventory, schedules, documentation, and technical records
  • Communicate effectively using Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and related platforms
  • Enforce safety standards and best practices across all technical operations

Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Advanced technical knowledge in one or more of the following:
  • Audio engineering, programming, and installation
  • Lighting design, programming, and installation
  • Theatrical rigging, inspections, safety, and daily operations
  • Experience working with RFPs, contracts, and external contractors
  • Familiarity with heavy machinery and power tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience within a theme park or live entertainment
  • New Braunfels, Texas, United States
