We are seeking a highly hands-on individual who not only improves processes but also actively diagnoses, repairs, and maintains critical production equipment.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable designing fixtures and rolling up their sleeves to operate or troubleshoot laser cutters, brake presses, robotic cells, mills, and other industrial machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving process reliability, and ensuring production stability.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and real-world machine operating and troubleshooting experience.
Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Technician/Technologist:
  • Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling improvements
  • Improve process repeatability and reduce scrap and rework
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Break production processes into time-defined, repeatable steps
  • Lead equipment-related process capability improvements
Machine Operator and Technician:
  • Nest and optimize laser cutting
  • Program and optimize brake programs
  • Operate laser, brake, robotic cells, MANUAL machining equipment as required (If you cant run a manual lathe or mill dont apply)
  • Diagnose and repair laser cutting systems, press brakes, robotic cells, and other
  • industrial equipment
  • Reduce downtime through proactive technical intervention

Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Millwright, or related field
  • Strong hands-on experience repairing and troubleshooting industrial machinery (This is a must have)
  • Experience with laser systems, press brakes, robotics, or automated equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Comfort working directly on the shop floor daily
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with automated production equipment
