Paid Media Manager (Freelance)
Meta + Google + Tracking
Role Goal
Own and scale paid acquisition across Meta and Google by:
• Managing paid ad accounts end-to-end
• Setting up and maintaining proper tracking infrastructure
• Building retargeting funnels
• Improving CTR, CPC, CPA, and conversion rate
• Turning paid media into a scalable acquisition channel
This role is performance-focused and results-driven.
Core Responsibilities
1. Ad Account Management
• Manage Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram)
• Manage Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube if applicable)
• Structure campaigns properly (testing vs scaling)
• Launch and optimize campaigns weekly
• Manage budget allocation
• Scale winning campaigns responsibly
• Pause underperforming ads quickly
2. Tracking & Analytics Setup
• Set up and configure GA4 properly
• Ensure conversion tracking is accurate
• Configure Meta Pixel and Google Tag
• Set up event tracking (signup, deposit, lead, purchase, etc.)
• Coordinate with tech team for implementation
• Ensure attribution is clean and measurable
3. Retargeting & Funnel Structure
• Build structured retargeting flows:
Website visitors
Video viewers
Add-to-cart / partial signups
Abandoned flows
• Create custom audiences
• Create lookalike audiences
• Design multi-stage funnel testing
4. Performance Optimization
• Monitor:
CTR
CPC
CPM
CVR
CPA
ROAS (if applicable)
• Identify bottlenecks (creative vs targeting vs landing page)
• Suggest landing page improvements if needed
• Test new angles continuously
Weekly Deliverables
• Active campaign management
• Budget allocation adjustments
• Testing roadmap update
• 1 clear performance report including:
Spend
CTR
CPC
CVR
CPA
Retargeting performance
What to scale next
Requirements
• Proven experience managing Meta and Google Ads
• Strong GA4 setup and tracking experience
• Experience building retargeting funnels
• Able to diagnose attribution problems
• Performance-first mindset
• Comfortable working independently
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: SEO Performance, meta ads, instagram ads, Google Ads, Retargeting
