Customs Officer - Border Protection

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the role of Customs Officer in various locations across the country. As a CBP officer, you will be responsible for enforcing customs laws, regulations, and policies at U.S. ports of entry while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• This position requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with international visitors and traders.
• You will conduct thorough inspections of people, cargo, vehicles and documents to prevent smuggling of goods into or out of the United States.

To qualify as a CBPO candidate you must possess one year's experience performing specialized work such as physical inspection duties that includes analyzing data which involves making decisions based on information gathered from evaluations conducted on facts reviewed through documentation compliance review done by using existing Federal state or local regulations | OR |
