• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations status.


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented non-citizens, smugglers at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.


• Interpreting tracks, marks, evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
