We are seeking skilled individuals to fill Border Patrol Agent positions at U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in a field such as law enforcement or military police work.
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and possessions is a key responsibility.
- Pursuing apprehending aliens during nighttime operations utilizing surveillance equipment requires vigilance, situational awareness, and effective communication skills.
The position involves conducting thorough inspections at ports of entry using various tools including binoculars, night vision scopes, etc., along with other essential duties.
