Protecting National Borders

Key Responsibilities of Border Patrol Agent:

• Identifying and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.

Primary Objectives:

1. To prevent the unlawful entry of aliens into the country by detecting, apprehending, and preventing smugglers at or near borders.

• Detecting and interdicting people with intent to violate immigration laws.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observation skills, ability to work in high-stress situations, strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and the public, adaptability to changing environments, physical stamina for regular outdoor duties. The ability to use technical equipment such as binoculars and night vision goggles is essential .
