Security Advocate

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by safeguarding America's borders.

   As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. Your work will involve inspecting individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility into the United States. You may also conduct interviews with suspected violators of laws to gather information about potential threats to national security.

To qualify for this position as a Customs and Border Protection Officer (GS-9), you must have at least one year of specialized experience in law enforcement or related fields that includes detaining suspects using proper techniques, enforcing regulations relating to imports/exports/international shipping, conducting risk assessments utilizing intelligence methods/behave analysis/or analyzing data from various sources., Interview suspects in an investigative capacity."
