The Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) is responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to importing/exporting merchandise, as well as facilitating trade and travel while preventing illicit activity.

• Enforce customs, immigration, agriculture laws. Detain suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods.


• Facilitate trade flow, conveyance inspections, and individual admissibility determinations. Prevent smuggling attempts. Identify potential threats through intelligence analysis& risk assessments.§ Conclude investigations& interviews effectively.
