The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers a unique opportunity to work with an elite team of highly trained professionals who strive to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
As a member of this workforce, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws. This includes inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

,Required Skills & Qualifications:
(i)GL-5 Grade Level:
You must have at least one year general work experience that demonstrates ability take charge,
maintain composure in stressful situations,
and learn regulations through classroom training on-the-job instruction
or education substitution:
bachelor degree from accredited college university OR combination both.
p>The GL grade level requires specialized experience
demonstrating sound judgment making arrests exercising firearms use dealing effectively w/people
in courteous tactful manner analyzing information rapidly making prompt decisions OR develop network informants.
