Job Description

 This is a challenging and rewarding role as Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.


The primary goal is to ensure public safety, protect our country's borders, prevent smuggling activities, and maintain international trade compliance.


  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens with primary residency in the United States for at least three years out of the last five years.

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to a next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods,
  • enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise; utilizing intelligence techniques; conducting interviews; etc.,
