Job Title:
Border Protection Specialist
Our organization is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Border Protection Specialists. This role requires a unique blend of law enforcement and border management skills, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about safeguarding national borders.
As a Border Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our nation's borders. Your primary responsibilities will include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; and preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods. You will also be responsible for utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats to national security.
In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including colleagues, government agencies, and international partners. A strong understanding of international relations, trade policies, and economic trends is also essential for success in this role.
Required Skills:
  • Possession of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-9 level.
  • Familiarity with customs laws & procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of threat recognition.
Benefits: "We offer competitive compensation packages that include annual base salary ranging from $61&,111-$124&,443 per year". Locality pay varies by duty location.
