• Safeguarding national security by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activities.


• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations.


• Determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.

The officer also must prevent illegal entries of people And goods for assisting drugs trafficking in any way such as smuggling along our international frontier regions.
