As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing laws and regulations related to importing, exporting, and international shipping;
- Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility;
- Preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods;
Benefits:
- Up to $15,000 recruitment incentive per year for three-year service contract;
- Duty location incentives available for certain locations;
Locality pay varies by duty location. ; Annual base salary GS-9 ($61,111 - $ );
Eligible for up to 45k overtime pay as fully trained CBPO.
