This position involves a range of responsibilities that aim to safeguard national borders and prevent the smuggling of unauthorized individuals into or out of the country.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, border regulations, and customs requirements.

The role requires extensive surveillance from covert positions to identify potential threats and take swift action when necessary. It is also crucial to maintain accurate records regarding aliens crossing borders who may be attempting re-entry after removal over one hundred eighty days prior; these records can lead to civil actions against entities involved in transporting migrants illegally.
When selecting candidates for this post, it is essential they have had primary US residency for at least three years within the last five. In addition, being fluent in Spanish on day one will significantly enhance your prospects.
