Key Responsibilities:

  • Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.

  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

  • Prevent smuggling activities at or near the borders using covert positions like infrared scopes during night operations.

  • Maintain surveillance on tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.">


Promotion Opportunities: You can progress through grade levels GL-5/GL-7/GS-11/GS12 depending upon performance. Qualifications include one year general experience demonstrating decision-making skills under stress situations
