Border Protection Specialist

The United States Border Patrol Agent is a high-stakes law enforcement position that requires exceptional skill and dedication to safeguard the nation's borders, deterring illicit activity and enhancing economic prosperity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near the borders


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry


• Patrolling international boundaries using various government assets

This role involves performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks. You will also be required to work with informants in developing a network for sharing information on potential security threats.

The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills as well as effective communication abilities. They should also possess solid judgment when dealing with emergency situations requiring swift decision-making.
Perequisites include U.S. citizenship; three years' primary residency within five years prior; age restriction under Public Law – candidates under forty referred for selection before their 40th birthday;
