As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding America's borders. You will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, working together to protect American interests and secure our nation.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal guidelines.

• You must have one (1) year specialized full-time work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes performing physical inspections of people, documents or goods for criminal activity, fraud,and/or illegal operations.Utilizing observational techniques,evaluating facts,and reviewing documentation while applying Federal State or local lawsand regulations.Making determinations in compliance with lawsand regulations that may lead to arrests seizureof property finesand/or penalties based on findings.OR for GS7 grade level:Education Substitution:A bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement based on class standinggrade-point average 3.0 or higheror honor society membership;OR one full year graduate-level education.This education must demonstrate the knowledge skillsand abilities necessary todothe work:OR
